Group work

At Savana we are dedicated to supporting clients in any way we can. Our group work plays a huge part in this, whether that be through personal development, learning a new craft or even simply socialising.

GROUP COUNSELLING

A form of counselling where a  group of people meet weekly to discuss, interact, and explore problems with each other and the Counsellor.

Group counselling seeks to give clients a safe and comfortable place at savana where they can work out problems and emotional concerns together as a group.

Looking Good //

Feeling Great

Looking Good, Feeling Great is a confidence building programme for women.

Our six week course focuses on building confidence and developing self-esteem in a supportive and non judgmental environment.

Coffee & Crafts

Male Forum

A bi-monthly group where our female clients can socialise over coffee and crafts. The group is client led and we encourage members to share ideas and skills to really make it their own. A small donation is requested to help fund the craft materials.

A client led group where male clients can have their voices heard, take part in activities or even volunteer to pass on a skill of their own. The male forum is a monthly meeting and lasts for approximately 2 hours.
