Savana YP is a new project launched to offer children and young people emotional and practical support in personal and social development to help them reach their full potential in society. This support will be offered in a variety of community settings including schools.

The project will also be developing and running workshops and courses designed to raise awareness around important issues like consent and healthy relationships.

If you are a young person who is waiting for or coming to the end of their support then the Anna Freud National Centre for Children & Families has created this useful collection of self-care strategies that you may find useful. You can also find information about support and your rights on their page: On My Mind.

More information will be added here as the project develops.

People’s Postcode Trust is a grant-giving charity funded
entirely by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

Our project received £10,500 from the Trust to
build relationships with local schools and help support young people who have experienced or been affected by sexual violence.
